Getting the right BiOrb Aquarium for yourself is not an easy task, but it is important you get the right setup for your situation. Will the aquarium be for an office space or in a living room area? Will the primary function of the aquarium be relaxation therapy, a pet for the children or an ornamental feature in the room?

These are just a few of the question you should ask when choosing a Biorb aquarium because the answers to these will determine what size you should buy. Just in case you are unawares the Biorb Aquarium is available in 4 gallon 8 gallon 12 Gallon and 16 Gallon sizes.

The BiOrb 60 holds 60 litres of water or 16 gallon and was introduced after the great success of the 8 gallon biorb aquarium. This fish tank is a lot larger than any of its predecessors and that should be taken into account when considering what size to buy. Biorb aquariums were introduced as a smaller alternative to the large aquarium available at that time so don’t get confused thinking because it says BiOrb then it must be small.

Given its large size this 16 gallon BiOrb aquarium can be converted into a complete marine aquarium easier than its smaller counterparts.

The BiUbe Aquarium is a tall slim stylish cylindrical aquarium that is perfect for any office or will look great in the home. This aquarium is an unique addition to the Reef One, and unlike it’s sister aquarium the BiOrb, this tank is very eye-catching and will have clients and visitors talking about in in no time. It cost around $150 normally, but if you are fast you can graba bargain at Amazon who have it on sale at $130.This includes your 9 gallon aquarium and Halogen lights and also comes in either silver trim or black.

Owners of the BiOrb aquarium system who have since converted over to the BiUbe aquariums have been raving about that fact that the Biube seems to show less distortion of the fish than the classic Biorb aquarium and the extra gallon of water only adds to the happiness of your goldfish or betta fish. What you should remember is that the extra gallon increase from the 8 gallon BiOrb doesn’t mean you can have more fish. You are still limited to the number as well as the types of fish you can put in the aquarium.

BiUbe Aquarium User Review

By R0cknR0bin (Florida)

I have always liked low maintenance aquariums having had an Eclipse 6 on my desk at work. I like the Biube so much I’m planning on purchasing the Larger 16 gallon Biorb aquarium for another room.

The set up was quick and easy (By the way, the light kit or other available accessories plug into the small airpump that came with it as it is also a transformer (only a problem when the airpump eventually dies like they all seem to do in time). Also the airpump is a little loud but really functions well. And the set-up saves a lot of cord clutter.

The only thing I’ve not been as thrilled with is the plastic-esque stand is not as nice as it appears in pictures and pretty expensive for what it is. In fact its almost too short for my liking and the design of 2 flat boards and a metal tube as the support is well… just plain cheesy. Also it would be nice to have some storage areas in the stand as there is no shelf or compartment or anything to hide the airpump or store extra filters, supplies and fish food. The tank is very cool, but I’m having a carpenter build a nicer looking stand to showcase my fish.

I’ve only had it set up for a week but I’ve already gotten tons of compliments on it and my fish are still swimming! My recommendation is buy the tank but skip the stand. The tank is really a conversation piece with it’s center column of bubbles!

When looking to buy LED Biorb aquarium lighting you are not really buying them for the benefit of your fish but to enhance the look and style of the aquarium and to make the person looking at the aquarium have a better experience. Underwater lights are available in many different colors and combinations of single colors, these lights will add another dimension to your aquarium set up.

LED aquarium lighting is suitable for many types of water environments and looks great in freshwater aquariums, reef style aquariums, marine aquariums, and planted aquarium. As long as you are careful and install the lighting properly then no harm should ever come to the fish in the Biorb aquarium from the electricity needed to operate the lights. Similarly the LED lights in your Biorb Aquarium should not cause any harm to any of the fish living there from the color or intensity of the color in the aquarium.

LED lamps of 3/4 to 2 watts can be implemented to come on at night, simulating the glow of the moon over the tank. This is a great way to add an extra dimension to your relaxing Biorb Aquarium when you get home late from a stressfull day or can even be used in the office by closing off the blinds and just watching your fish swim about in the Biorb Aquarium in a moonlight glow.
